Sugar River Exchange Co. was created by our family with a love for flowers, handmade goods, and the small-town New England community we call home.

My husband, Sebastian, and I, Kristian are raising our two children while building businesses rooted in creativity, hard work, and local connection. Along with the flower shop in Sunapee, our family also owns Balsam Woods Tree Farm in Newport, New Hampshire.

At the shop, flowers are at the heart of what we do, from everyday bouquets and our Flower Bar to weddings, special occasions, and deliveries. We also proudly feature creations from local artisans, giving talented makers in our community a place to share their work and helping keep more support within our local area.

Our goal is simple: to create a warm, welcoming shop filled with beautiful flowers, unique local goods, and the feeling of an old-fashioned New England store where community still matters.
